Spiritual Development

In addition to providing education and food, Give Hope is also committed to strengthening the spiritual well being of the children in our community. There are currently many children enrolled in an afterschool program walking students through The Greatest Journey children’s bibles. Starting in 2014, Busia Community Church, (BCC), founded by Willy Ouma, provides an essential element to the total student experience. We are thrilled to have begun God’s work at the campus. BCC currently reaches more than 50 adult church members and an additional 40 children in Sunday School, growing with outreach including bible distribution as a project thanks to donors who want to fulfill the command found in Matthew 28:18-20; “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.”
